"Geoff and I just want to say how much we "Loved!!" our canal cruise. It was very busy and really quite demanding physically but we still had the best time and it was one of the highlights of our trip. At first we were a little taken back by the size of our upgrade - it was quite a large boat for two people and getting used to negotiating the locks took some practice - however speaking to others who had hired the little penichette - the comfort level was definitely a bonus, as were the bow thrusters and upstairs steering. We would recommend this cruise over and over again, but older customers should be aware of the physical demands particularly travelling from Argens to Negra - the locks are constant - there is barely enough time to make a cup of tea during the day - so the hour the lock keepers have off for lunch is a great time for us to have lunch too - with the mandatory glass of wine of course. Thanks once again for all your help booking this cruise". Wendy and Geoff.
