The cruise will let you discover one of the biggest vineyard of the world, our tours reflect the very best of south West France - fine food and wines, cultural activities, and the immense pleasure of sailing through beautiful scenery. Onboard, you will taste 4 different wines each day: Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, Sauternes, Medoc, Chateau Margaux, Côte de Blaye, to name a few. Daily excursions are led by a local and passionate wine expert, at ease with newcomers and Connoisseurs alike. The Mirabelle was originally built in Holland in 1942. She has been completely overhauled and modernized to provide elegant, comfortable accommodation for a maximum of 24 passengers. Mirabelle cruises around Bordeaux on the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers, and on the Entre-Deux-Mers waterway. The large terrace allows to admire the countryside. The salon is extremely comfortable, with both air conditioning and central heating. Meals are prepared on board and served in the dining area. Each cabin, individually air conditioned, features twin beds and ensuite.

Pickup at Bordeaux Station from 3pm. Our guide will wait for you and take you to the boat moored on the Canal des Deux Mers. A welcome cocktail on board. Walk along the water in the evenin. Dinner on board.

MONDAY - Loupiac

"En route" for Cadillac, you will enjoy the spectacular scenery and going through locks on the river "La Garonne". You will pass the enormous castle of Roquetaillade and the prestigious Châteaux d ' Yquem, Rieussec, Haut Peyraguey and many ' others including the Château Guiraud and Malle . Wine tasting that day.

TUESDAY - bordeaux

The cruise will go up the Garonne, to the city of Bordeaux, past the Pont de Pierre to the port of the moon, a landing stage which has one of the most impressive views in the entire city:the Pont de Pierre, the Place de la Bourse and the Quai des Chartrons in one broad sweep. You will be utterly captivated by the city's beautiful historic monuments such as the church at St. Michel with its gothic spire, the Grand Theatre etc... You can take advantage of your free time until dinner to get a feel for the city or go shopping in some of the Bordeaux's fine boutiques.


After a stop tasting tour on the ' island Margaux, the cruise continues along the Garonne and up the Gironde estuary as far as the landing stage in Blaye. The "Coteaux" stopover includes a visit to the remarkable 17th century "World Heritage" fortress in Blaye designed by Vauban. You will also be welcomed at a Chateau for a tasting session to enjoy a famous wine Cotes de Blaye.

THURSDAY - Pauillec / Medoc / Bourg

The boat will cross the Gironde estuary to the Medoc peninsula and drop anchor at Pauillac, home of famous Lafite, Mouton - Rothschild, Pontet - Canet, Latour, both, Pichon, Listrac, Margaux, Maucaillou, Poujeaux Rauzan Ségla Palmer, Issan, Kirwan. Your bus will take you on the "Wine Chateau" tour to travel through the vineyards. Some famous wine producer like Château Lamothe Bergeron or Prieuré Lichine will open their doors for a tasting visit followed by 'a light snack at the chocolate Mademoiselle de Margaux... The boat will head out again at the end of the day to reach Bourg, historic village built on a rocky promontory. You could enjoy a walk around town before dinner.

FRIDAY - Libourne

The barge will continue up the Dordogne to Libourne and its weekly market. A memorable excursion to the medieval village of Saint-Emilion built atop a natural amphitheater includes a tour of cellars dug out of solid rock where wine has been made for centuries. Stroll down the cobbled stoned old lanes and past the well preserved town walls to the remains of a 14th century cardinal's palace, and then to the Eglise Monolith, Europe's largest subterranean Church with 8th century catacombs and a knight's tomb. our tour continues with the most famous castles of Saint - Emilion and Pomerol Angelus, Beausejour, Ausone, Cheval Blanc, Dominica, Trottevieille, Gaubert, Bel Air Monange Laroque, Fombrauge, Grand Corbin, Gazin, Petrus, Small Village, Nenin ... some of the most famous wines in the world. A paradise for wine lovers! Back on board at the end of the day, where the captain and his crew will invite you to a gala farewell dinner.


After breakfast, We will take you to Saint Jean train station in Bordeaux for you to continue your holiday.

This cruise is offered in the opposite direction alternating each week.
